Athlete announce a handful of US dates
Athlete have announced that they will play a handful of US dates in November.
The band are supporting their new album 'Beyond The Neighbourhood' -- the follow-up to their UK Number One double-platinum album 'Tourist'.
The band will play showcases in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
The tour dates are:
New York, NY Highline Ballroom (November 8)

Rufus Wainwright announces new CD and DVD
Rufus Wainwright is to release a CD and DVD of his live recreation of Judy Garland's legendary Carnegie Hall concert.
A live CD recorded at the famed New York venue, 'Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall', is set for release on the same day as a DVD, 'Rufus! Rufus! Rufus! Does Judy! Judy! Judy! Live At The London Palladium'.
The sets both commemorate Wainwright's performances of Garland's 'Judy At Carnegie Hall' album from 1961.
They will be released on December 3. |
Lostprophets triumph at Full Ponty Festival
Local heroes Lostprophets and The Automatic have triumphed at this year's Full Ponty festival in Wales - but Gallows were the day's surprise big hit.
Headliners Lostprophets wowed the 10,000-strong crowd at Ynysancharad Park in Pontypridd yesterday (May 26) with a set which included classics such as 'Fake Sound Of Progress' and set closer 'Last Train Home'.
The set also featured brief cameos from singer Ian Watkins' mum and gran.
The Automaticwere also a big hit with the locals, with set which included the favourites 'Raoul', 'Golddigger', 'Monster' and set closer 'Recover'.
Other highlights included Atrium Stage headliners Paramore, local lads The Guns, and Gallows, who saw a massive crowd queue up to watch their set on the small Coca-Cola Stage.
Frank Carter and co, didn't disappoint, with 'Orchestra Of Wolves' and 'Will Someone Shoot That Fucking Snake' the undisputed highlights of the set.
