| The Shins join T On The Fringe line-up The Shins and The Magic Numbers have joined the bill for this year's T On The Fringe festival in Scotland. The Magic Numbers play the Liquid Room on August 9, while The Shins will play the Corn Exchange on August 23. They join a line-up that already includes the likes of Foo Fighters, Razorlight, Kanye West and Interpol. Los Campesinos! announce select US shows Los Campesinos! have announced three shows to take place in November. The Cardiffians recently performed a stellar set despite technical difficulties at Lollapalooza, and played shows in Toronto, New York and Philadelphia in support of their debut EP 'Sticking Fingers Into Sockets' which came out last month. Meanwhile, the band are headed to the studio in Toronto to record their debut album with Broken Social Scene producer Dave Newfeld. The record is due out early next year. Pop band for sale on eBay The '90s novelty band Rednex have put themselves on sale, via auction site eBay. The Swedish band had a Number One hit with 'Cotton Eye Joe' in 1994, while they had other European hits with 'Old Pop In An Oak' and 'Wish You Were Here'. The starting bid is ?1,106,513 ($1,500,000). In the auction description the band explain: "Buy your own pop band! For the first time in the history of the entertainment business there is a pop band for sale....And we don't mean for sale as in, 'Hire them for your next festival'. No, we mean completely for sale as in: it's all yours! "The buyer gets it all The Band - the Trademark - the Music. The Tour - the Record Deals - the Website.
