P. Diddy joins line-up for Diana concert

P. Diddy has joined the line up for the Princess Diana memorial concert.

Nelly Furtado, Will Young, Tom Jones and Supertramp singer Roger Hodgson have also been added.

The late princess was said to have been a big fan of Supertramp, who were a massive-selling act in the late 70s.

As previously reported Pharrell Williams, Lily Allen, Kanye West, Take That, Elton John, Duran Duran, Joss Stone and Bryan Ferry are set to play the gig, which takes place at the new Wembley Stadium in London on July 1.

Tickets for the gig sold out within minutes, reports The Times.
Rihanna goes to Number One on downloads alone

Rihanna's 'Umbrella' has gone to the top of the UK singles chart tonight (May 20) on downloads alone.

The track is not released physically until May 28, so betters Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' which went Number One with just downloads one week before release, however that was before chart rules were changed to allow all online releases to count towards the main countdown.

The singer found out she'd clinched the top spot on stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend, read a full report straight from the site on NME.COM now.

The full UK single and album charts will follow shortly.
Razorlight to perform intimate New York show

Razorlight have been confirmed to perform a special show at New York City's Gramercy Theatre next month.

The show at the 700 capacity venue will be the band's only US date this summer, although there are plans afoot for a full US tour in the autumn.

In addition to slots at Pinkpop, T In The Park, and the Reading/Leeds festivals, the band will also perform at Al Gore's Live Earth concert in London on July 7.

"I'm personally excited that we're going to be a part of the Live Earth show," frontman Johnny Borrell said in a statement. "I went to the cinema to see 'An Inconvenient Truth' with my mates when it was released and I walked out afterwards thinking that I had to do something. When we got the call to join the bill for the London show, it was really a no-brainer."

Razorlight play the Gramercy Theatre on May 1.

Watch this space for an announcement of the band's forthcoming US tour.
