Editors bring their Number One album at T In The Park
The King Tut's Wah Wah Tent was packed again tonight (July 8) as Editors brought their Number One album to T In The Park.
Launching into 'Bones', the band, watched by Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, played a selection of songs from their debut album 'The Back Room' and new release 'An End Has A Start'.
Singer Tom Smith told the frenzied crowd: "This is our third time at T In The Park and you never cease to amaze!"
The fan favourites 'All Sparks' and 'Munich' got the audience clapping along, but the loudest cheers were reserved for recent single 'Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors'. |
Billy Ocean to play Hackney
The biggest selling British Black artist of all time, Billy Ocean, has announced a London show for December.
He has sold in excess of 30 million singles and albums worldwide with particular success both sides of the Atlantic featuring a run of classic hits, including including "When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going", and top 10 albums through the eighties.

The Chemical Brothers announce US dates
The Chemical Brothers have announced the first three dates of their US tour this autumn.
The electronica duo will hit New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on September 21 before heading to the west coast to play shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The band are supporting their new album 'We Are The Night'. The follow-up to 2005's 'Push The Button' features collaborators including Klaxons, Midlake and Willy Mason. |
