Neko Case to play LA's Disney Hall

Neko Case has announced that she will perform at the renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on November 16.

The singer-songwriter, who also sings with New Pornographers, will also play at a benefit concert on November 15 in Tucson, Arizona.

The show will benefit human rights organisation No More Deaths, which addresses deaths of immigrants who cross the border from Mexico into Southern Arizona.

Case has also announced that she will re-release her 2006 album 'Fox Confessor Brings The Flood' in November.

The expanded version will contain four bonus tracks and a previously unreleased demo version of 'Behind The House'.
Daughtry play second ever UK date

US superstars Daughtry have confirmed only their second ever UK show at the Scala in London on 27th November 2007.

The band last played in the country in June of this year when their Borderline show sold out in a matter of minutes and fans camped out all day for tickets that were changing hands on the internet for ?400.

The band, fronted by Chris Daughtry have been touring consistently across the US since the release of their debut album in the US last November and have gone on to sell an incredible 3 million copies and hitting the number one spot (twice!) on the Billboard top 100.

It?s still the biggest selling album in the US this year, and new single 'Over You? is one of the most added songs at US radio, currently at no. 25 in the Billboard chart and rising. The album entered the UK charts at No. 13 upon it?s release in August.

Having recently visited Singapore and Australia for the first time, Daughtry returned to the US to discover they had been nominated for 3 American Music Awards: Favourite Album (Pop or Rock), Favourite Artist (Adult Contemporary) and Favourite Breakthrough Artist.

Daughtry consist of Josh Paul (bass), Joey Barnes (drums), Brian Craddock (guitar), Josh Steely (guitar) and Chris Daughtry (vocals).

They recorded their triple platinum album with Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects) which went on to spend over 30 weeks in the Billboard Top Ten on release.

The band will release a single 'Home? on 7th January (originally scheduled for late October).
Muse bring Benicasim 2007 to epic close

Muse led Benicassim 2007 to a thundering close tonight (July 22).

Britain's biggest live act stole the show as they returned to the Spanish festival for a second time.

Following powerful main stage sets from Kings of Leon and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the band ploughed through their greatest hits.

And a spectacular visual show climaxed with giant balloons filled with tickertape released into the crowd during 'Plug In Baby', echoing their recent shows at Wembley Stadium.

Enthusing about the festival, Matt Bellamy was told NME.COM: "Benicassim's brilliant, it's got a really weird line-up, a lot of bands who you think have disappeared or split up or something. And the backstage area is one of the best party areas anywhere. The promoter hands out all these free passes to women, as I'm sure you're aware!"

Muse turned up onsite yesterday to support the UK's other big festival hit of the summer: "I saw the Arctic Monkeys last night," said Matt. "I spent the rest of the time propping up the bar, but I thought they were really good. They played really well. They've got a big gig in the UK next week (at Lancashire County Cricket Club), so it's great to see them when they're right at their peak."
