Glastonbury weather watch: conflicting forecasts
Glastonbury weather could be much better than expected, according to a rival forecast.
As previously reported, BBC Weather's forecast suggested that it will rain for the duration of the festival weekend (June 22-24).
However, according to Met Office website Metcheck.com the outlook is slightly more optimistic. According to themm, Saturday (June 23) will be completely rain free, while Friday (June 22) will only see rain in the afternoon.

Architecture In Helsinki reveal new album details
Architecture In Helsinki have revealed details of their forthcoming album as well as a multi-version single.
The Australian six-piece plan to release their third full-length album, 'Places Like This', on August 7 in the US.
The album's first single, 'Heart It Races', will appear on CD, 12" and digital formats on June 5 via its new label, Polyvinyl Records. The band will offer several different remixes and cover versions of the song as B-sides.

Buzzcocks, Hot Hot Heat for LA street fair
Buzzcocks and Hot Hot Heat are set to headline this year's Sunset Junction street fair held in the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
Also on the bill for the weekend festival, which takes place August 18-19, are Blonde Redhead, Autolux, Ben Harper, Morris Day and The Time, She Wants Revenge, and LA darlings The Broken West and Sea Wolf.
The event benefits the Sunset Junction Neighborhood Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community of Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz and the greater Los Angeles area. |
