Patrick Wolf to play exclusive Fujifilm gig
Fresh from touring the United States, Patrick Wolf has announced that he is to perform an exclusive one off live gig in a central London location on the 19th of November in association with Fujifilm and their new FinePix Z10fd.
The venue, which is set to remain a secret until the day of the event, will provide the perfect space for the small gig guaranteeing that fans are treated to an intimate live experience. The Facebook? group format of entering the competition will also help further ensure that true fans of Patrick Wolf are the ones to experience this event; tickets will not be sold, but instead can be won via the Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd Facebook? website. All fans will have to do is join the group and they will automatically be entered into the exclusive draw.
The Facebook? site also sees Patrick blogging for Fujifilm, so that members can also engage with Patrick through his blogs as well as get a peek backstage and beyond into the 'World of Wolf ?, where Patrick will be using the new Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd to document his day to day life.

Magic Numbers second album gets US release date
The Magic Numbers have announced the US release of their second album is scheduled for July.
'Those The Brokes', the follow-up to their self-titled debut, features a slightly different sequencing to the UK version, and has an additional track entitled 'Keep It In the Pocket'.
The foursome have also announced a special show at New York's Hiro Ballroom on May 9.
Recorded at Allaire Studios in Woodstock, NY and Olympic Studios in London, 'Those The Brokes' is released on July 3.

The White Stripes perform at Bowling Alley
The White Stripes performed a special show at a bowling alley in Canada at the weekend.
The duo are mixing up their North American tour with tiny shows in unusual venues and so far have played a mobile classroom and a moving city bus, both in Canada, and turned Tower Records Los Angeles into Icky Thump Records for a special show.
On Sunday they performed a short set at Eastview Bowling Alley in Saskatoon, with footage appearing online of the song 'Let's Build A Home'.
As previously reported, the band also performed an intimate show in London when they played for pensioners in Chelsea. |
