Amy Winehouse plays Camden Crawl homecoming
Amy Winehouse played a homecoming gig tonight (April 19) as part of the Camden Crawl.
The north London singer played most of the tracks from her album 'Back To Black' as well as the Mark Ronson collaboration 'Valerie'.
Arriving at the Dublin Castle pub half an hour after her scheduled performance, Winehouse told the packed crowd: "I'm really chuffed to be here- I come from Camden!"
After playing album track 'Just Friends' she said: "When they came and said to me: 'you're playing the Camden Crawl, they asked me where I wanted to play and I said 'The Dublin Castle of course!'" Winehouse then asked told the crowd to: "get out" if they weren't from Camden.
Earlier in the evening Cajun Dance Party played their jangly guitar pop for a packed audience at the Electric Ballroom. As well as single 'The Next Untouchable', the five piece played 'Colourful Life' and 'Run To The Fun' which saw singer Danny Blumberg doing herky jerky dances across the stage.
Hadouken! played new single 'Liquid Lives' at Koko but the biggest cheer of their set came when they played 'That Boy, That Girl'.
"Are you gonna buy our new single?" asked frontman James, the crowd roared with approval.
