The White Stripes perform at Bowling Alley
The White Stripes performed a special show at a bowling alley in Canada at the weekend.
The duo are mixing up their North American tour with tiny shows in unusual venues and so far have played a mobile classroom and a moving city bus, both in Canada, and turned Tower Records Los Angeles into Icky Thump Records for a special show.
On Sunday they performed a short set at Eastview Bowling Alley in Saskatoon, with footage appearing online of the song 'Let's Build A Home'.

I'm From Barcelona gear up for US shows
I'm From Barcelona are gearing up for three US shows next month, two of which will take place in Brooklyn.
The band will release their brand new single 'We're From Barcelona' on July 31, which includes the B-Side 'Britney', a tribute to troubled pop princess Britney Spears. The single is the second to be taken from their debut album 'Let Me Introduce My Friends'.
Just days later the 29-piece band will play Lollapalooza in Chicago before coming east for two further shows. |
Bright Eyes teams up with Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Bright Eyes teamed up with Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner on Tuesday (May 30) as part of his Town Hall residency in New York.
Also on stage were Norah Jones, Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis and Gillian Welch.
As previously reported he opened his residency by teaming up with Lou Reed.
He is also set to release 'Hot Knives' as the second single from his new album 'Cassadaga' on July 9.
